Object of the data protection

The object of the data protection is personal data. In accordance with § 3 section 1 BDSG this is individual information on the personal or factual circumstances of a specified natural person or a natural person that can be specified. This includes e.g. information such as name, postal address, email address or telephone number, and where applicable also usage data such as your IP address.

Scope of the data collection and storage

Use of our website does not require you to provide personal data. So that we can actually provide our services however we require your personal data. This applies in the case of sending information material or ordered products as well as responding to individual queries.

If you instruct us with the production and/or shipping of a product, we collect and store your personal data categorically only insofar it is necessary for the provision of the service or the implementation of the contract. This may mean that it is necessary for your personal data to be passed on to other companies that we employ for the purpose of fulfilment of the service or completion of the contract. These are e.g. transport companies or other service providers. If we undertake one of the following actions described or any other action or provide any services, we would like to collect and store your personal data and will request your express permission at the respective part of our website:

- sending of newsletters
- credit check to enable us to provide our services or
- payment methods
- further services and offers for which associated data collection requires your express permission.

Once the contract has been completed your data will be locked and deleted following expiry of the statutory fiscal and commercial regulations, unless you have expressly agreed to use of the data over and above this.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter with your email address we will also use your email address beyond the completion of the contract for our own advertising purposes, until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Data collection by use of Google-Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, an advert analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text data that is stored on your computer and that enables an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information created by the cookie on your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the case of activation of IP anonymisation on this website your IP address is however beforehand abbreviated by Google within the members states of the European Union or within other signatories to the treaty on the European Economic Community. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On request of the proprietor of this website Google will use this information to assess the use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide the website proprietor with further services related to the use of the website and the internet.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not connected with any other Google data. You can avoid storage of the cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; we do however point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. Further, you can avoid collection of the data created by the cookie and referring to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data by Google if you download and install the browser plugin available under the following link (you can find the plugin here). In light of the discussion on the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” and thus only abbreviated IP addresses are processed in order to exclude the possibility of the IP address being linked directly to an individual.

Further information on conditions of use and data protection can be found under http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and under http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html. We point out that on this website, Google Analytics was extended with the code “gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

Collection and storage of usage data

For the purpose of optimisation of our website we store data such as e.g. date and time of the page visit, the page from which you have visited our page, and similar.

This is done in an anonymised way without personally identifying the page visitor. Where applicable, user profiles are created using a pseudonym. In this case too no connection is made between the natural person behind the pseudonym and the usage data collected. For the purpose of collecting and storing the usage data we also use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your computer and are used for the storing of statistical information such as the operating system, your internet browser, IP address, the previously visited web page (referrer URL) and the time. We collect this data exclusively for statistical purposes to further optimise our internet presentation and to enhance the attractiveness of our internet offers. The collection and storage is performed exclusively in an anonymised or pseudo-anonymised manner and does not allow any connection to you as a natural person.

Data used for a specific purpose

We comply with the principle of using data for a specific purpose and collect, process and store your personal data only for the purposes for which you have provided us with the data. Your personal data will not be passed on to a third party without your express permission, unless this is necessary to render the service or implement the contract. The transmission of the data to statutory institutions and agencies that are entitled to receive information is also only undertaken within the limits of the statutory obligations to provide information or if we become legally bound to provide information as a result of a legal judgment.

We also take company-internal data protection very seriously. Our staff and the service providers appointed by us have been bound to confidentiality and to compliance with the statutory data protection regulations by us.

Right of access and right of recall

You can receive information on your data stored by us at any time and at no charge, without having to provide a reason. You can have your data stored by us locked, corrected or deleted at any time. You can also recall the permission for the data collection and use you have given us at any time without having to provide a reason. For this purpose please contact:
